I don’t sing in front of a lot of people. I also don’t play my ukulele in public (only my parents and my boyfriend have had that privilege).
My therapist always tells me that I should take a risk when I feel like I’m stuck in a rut. Creating something has always been an outlet for me. So I recorded myself playing my favorite Ringo Starr song, “Octopus Garden” and I’m posting it on the Internet. Talk about leaving your comfort zone.
I think that recording myself will hold me accountable on my practicing…especially since I just shelled out $$$ for my early birthday present: A Martin LX1 Little Acoustic.

Let me know what you think. Thank you!
